Versant Power to Host Customer Information Meeting for Bangor Hydro District

Bangor, ME - Versant Power invites customers in the Bangor Hydro District to attend an upcoming customer information meeting designed to provide valuable insights into electric service, billing, and future grid developments.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Orono Town Office – Orono Municipal Council Chambers, located at 59 Main Street, Orono, ME 04473.

The event will feature two informative sessions:

• 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.: A presentation on electricity rates for residential and business customers, understanding your bill, and available customer service programs.
• 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.: A presentation on grid inspection and planning processes, recent and upcoming work in the Bangor Hydro District, and the integration of renewable energy resources.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions following each session. A coffee break will be provided between presentations.
